This bed alarm has been designed to alert the caregivers when a patient leaves a chair or bed. This device is implemented by attaching it to a pressure sensitive pad. Included in the package along with the alarm are a safety alert, on/off power switch, low battery warning, and 4 AA batteries.

The Reset option contains a reset button that can be pressed to reset the unit upon activation. The standard, the more popular option, will need to be turned off or the user will need to sit/lay on the item.

This alarm has the unique advantage of using economic conservation while informing caregivers that a patient has left either a chair or bed. This device is implemented by attaching to a bed or chair using a clip. When a patient leaves, the pin connector pulls from the alarm unit activating the signal. It can also be deactivated simply with the on/off power switch.
