The Esteem Synergy™ Ostomy System utilizes an innovative Adhesive Coupling Technology™ that connects the pouch to the skin barrier and eliminates the need for plastic rings that have to be snapped or locked together. The system has a flat, flexible adhesive foam ring on a pouch that securely connects with a clear, flat, flexible plastic "landing zone" flange on a skin barrier. Esteem synergy™ combines the benefits of one- and two-piece systems, is easy to apply and easy to remove. The new ergonomically shaped pouches are designed to complement body contours and add to ease of emptying. Different filters in left- and right-side pouches are designed to handle different types of output. Four slits on the right drainable pouches allow for individual control over the speed of the gas release.
